A technologist who came up through film and music — and built WrapToScreen because the months between picture lock and premiere are the ones where an independent film is finally worth something, and the ones nobody had built a tool for.
Why WrapToScreen exists
Post is where a film goes quiet. The crew has wrapped, the coordinator's contract has ended, and
what is left is one producer, a spreadsheet, and a folder called
FINAL_final_v3. Which cut is current. What this festival requires that the last one
didn't. Which deadline already passed. What the submissions have cost. Where the signed releases
went. Every one of those questions has an answer somewhere — it is just never in the same place
twice.
WrapToScreen is one home for that stretch: a cut registry that says which master is the current one and proves it with a checksum, the deliverables list distributors actually ask for, a festival campaign with real deadlines, screeners you can end, a press kit built from the film's own record, and a binder that keeps the chain of title together. It stores links and records, never your video — the film stays where you already keep it.
Three careers, one throughline
Technology
An engineering leader in cloud-native and open source. I helped steer the Kubernetes project — running the release process for a major version and shaping its architecture and enhancement-proposal process — and have held leadership roles at companies including Google, Microsoft, VMware, and Upbound.
Film & Screen
A composer, producer, and actor whose credits include Trüebadour, Homestead, and Bampire. Getting a finished film in front of an audience is exactly the part I have watched swallow good films whole.
Music
A saxophonist and composer who studied saxophone performance, musical theater, and composition at Western Oregon University. I founded Score Reveal Productions to create original scores, and I'm also a visual artist and hand engraver of brass instruments.

The company
WrapToScreen is operated by ReelVenue Inc., a California corporation. The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are the agreement between you and us, and the support page is how you reach a human.
Where this sits in the SlateScreen Suite
WrapToScreen is the middle of three products that hand a film to each other, so that nothing is retyped between the shoot and the sale:
- SetDots — script to wrap. Runs the production and ends holding a complete record: daily reports, signed releases with evidence, the merged credits roster.
- WrapToScreen — lock to premiere. Imports that record, so the credits become your end crawl and the releases ledger becomes your chain-of-title binder, and carries the film through deliverables, festivals, screeners, and press.
- ReelVenue — distribution. When the film sells, WrapToScreen exports a machine-readable handoff of its verified state.
You don't need the other two. A film shot before you ever heard of SetDots gets the full deliverables, festival, and press-kit value — you just type the credits in yourself.
